My Introduction:
My name is Lynsey Barnes, Im 14 and i am absolutely addicted to drawing, i love to draw and im getting better at it each time i draw xD. I love Roleplaying and i do it in my free-time, which i have alot of right now since its summer. The type of music i like is HeavyMetal/Screamo... and of course,Dubstep XD. My favorite band is Bring Me The Horizon <3.One last thing,I was diagnosed with Paranoid Schizophrenia at the age of 6 so thats why Curse(my character on FH) has it.
Curse's introduction:
Appearence: Solid black, she is so skinny that her ribs and hip bones show underneather her beautiful black pelt. Her tail is longer than normal due to a birth defect... Her left eye is Blue with silver in the middle, the pupil is normal, But her right eye....(the demons eye, others call it to make fun of her) Is a deep orange color with yellow in the middle, the pupil is extremely small compared to the one in her left eye. Giving curse a rabid/demonic look. She was born with a soft spot in the middle of her forehead, hit that hard enough and she is out cold.
This she-wolf was born to an abusive family, she had only a father since her mother had died during birth. Her father, 4 brothers, and the other 3 members of the pack constantly beated her and said cruel things. Over that time the pup became weak minded (she is extremely intelligent although) and that led to her becoming easy to get possessed. She developed Paranoid Schizophrenia since her childhood was so stressful, most of the voices she hears comes from her childhood, as well as the nightmares.
She is now 2 years old, And always in her own personal hell. Everyday is a nightmare as she battles Schizophrenia, the voices are louder when she is alone or angry. She has trouble sleeping because of nightmares she has. Yet her problems, she is very sweet, and shy, once you get to know her. Otherwise she fears everyone, fearing they will beat on her too, or abandon her just like her family has done.
Paranoid Schizophrenia
Paranoid schizophrenia is one of several types of schizophrenia, a chronic mental illness in which a person loses touch with reality (psychosis). The classic features of paranoid schizophrenia are having delusions and hearing things that aren't real.
With paranoid schizophrenia, your ability to think and function in daily life may be better than with other types of schizophrenia. You may not have as many problems with memory, concentration or dulled emotions. Still, paranoid schizophrenia is a serious, lifelong condition that can lead to many complications, including suicidal behavior.
Symptoms
Auditory hallucinations, such as hearing voices
Delusions, such as believing a co-worker wants to poison you
Anxiety
Anger
Emotional distance
Violence
Argumentativeness
Self-important or condescending manner
Suicidal thoughts and behavior
Key Symptoms
Delusions and hallucinations are the symptoms that make paranoid schizophrenia most distinct from other types of schizophrenia.
Delusions. In paranoid schizophrenia, a common delusion is that you're being singled out for harm. For instance, you may believe that the government is monitoring every move you make or that a co-worker is poisoning your lunch. You may also have delusions of grandeur — the belief that you can fly, that you're famous or that you have a relationship with a famous person, for example. You hold on to these false beliefs despite evidence to the contrary. Delusions can result in aggression or violence if you believe you must act in self-defense against those who want to harm you.
Auditory hallucinations. An auditory hallucination is the perception of sound — usually voices — that no one else hears. The sounds may be a single voice or many voices. These voices may talk either to you or to each other. The voices are usually unpleasant. They may make ongoing criticisms of what you're thinking or doing, or make cruel comments about your real or imagined faults. Voices may also command you to do things that can be harmful to yourself or to others. When you have paranoid schizophrenia, these voices seem real. You may talk to or shout at the voices.
Sorry for the long bio/intro. Just trying to describe curse the best way i can xD but now im done
